Andrés Szita was born in Santiago, Chile, the son of immigrants: his father from Hungary and his mother from Austria. His early education took place at a French school, and he later graduated from a British institution. He emigrated to the United States in his twenties, first moving to Los Angeles, then New York, and eventually returning to Los Angeles, where he has lived for the past 20 years.

Andrés draws on more than 20 years of real estate investment experience as a principal, boasting a track record of over $2 billion in direct transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, repositioning, restructuring, renovations, and managing a diverse portfolio of assets, such as hotels, multifamily, industrial, office, and retail centers. Currently, he serves as a Managing Director at WealthStone, a vertically integrated real estate organization targeting income-producing assets in markets that exhibit solid growth and positive fundamentals. Previously, he held the position of Managing Director at Laurus Corp., a real estate development and management firm, and Ethika Investments, a private equity fund. 

During his career, Andrés has been involved in every aspect of commercial real estate, from sourcing, acquisition, financing, asset management, to disposition. His expertise involves structuring joint ventures, co-investments, sophisticated tax structures, as well as planning, budgeting, and executing full-scale property renovations.
